Grand Blue Dreaming

College freshman Kitahara Iori arrives in the coastal city of Izu with boundless optimism, eager to embrace the quintessential campus experience of sun, sea, and new friendships. His plans take a specific turn when he moves into his uncle's diving establishment, Grand Blue, expecting a tranquil base for his studies and social life. Instead, he walks into a boisterous den inhabited by a motley crew of diving fanatics whose obsessions extend equally to the depths of the ocean and the bottom of a sake bottle, all while surrounded by the shop's stunning female regulars. Iori quickly finds his idealized vision of college life colliding with a raucous reality of drunken escapades, impromptu diving sessions, and near-constant chaos. Torn between the dignified student he aspired to be and the absurd antics of his new companions, he must decide whether to resist the madness or embrace it fully. As the ocean calls and the drinks keep flowing, Iori's journey becomes a hilarious test of whether his dream college life can survive—or even thrive—amidst the unforgettable mayhem of Grand Blue.
