Navillera: Like a Butterfly

Following the funeral of an old friend, Deok-Chul Sim decides to pursue a long-held wish: ballet. To the astonishment—and perhaps dismay—of his wife, children, and other acquaintances, the seventy-year-old man immerses himself in following his heart and his passion. With support from his young instructor, Chae-Rok, and alongside others who hope their own ambitions will take flight, Deok-Chul undertakes a journey of dedication that is far from simple. Hardship and the awareness of mortality shadow the path, yet he continues to move forward. Through his resolve, he reveals the significance and joy of chasing a dream, no matter one’s age or the obstacles ahead. His story is a testament to the value of pursuing what one truly loves.
