When Mitsuha and Taki's miraculous encounter transformed their lives, the ripples reached far beyond the two of them, altering the destiny of everyone in Itomori—a small village tucked deep within the mountains. Yet theirs is only a single episode in the village's long and winding history, and Mitsuha's perspective is but one thread in a far larger tapestry. Every tale holds as many truths as it has tellers, and every life leaves its imprint on countless others. Another Side: Earthbound turns its gaze toward the people surrounding Mitsuha—her family, the friends who shared her days in their close-knit community, and the boy from Tokyo whose arrival changed everything. Woven together, their stories draw a richer and fuller portrait of the circumstances surrounding the comet, and of the quiet, enduring forces that bind the people of Itomori to one another.
