Rikudo

The world Riku Azami inhabits offers no quarter and few second chances. After the devastating loss of his father, the young boy finds himself adrift in a society where cruelty often passes for order and the vulnerable are devoured without hesitation. It is in this desolate landscape that he crosses paths with Kyosuke Tokorozawa, a hardened debt collector whose scarred physique and weary eyes betray a past life in the boxing ring. Though their meeting is forged in the grim realities of collection and coercion, it ignites a singular, ferocious purpose within Riku—a purpose that has nothing to do with money and everything to do with survival. Driven by a primal need to endure against an overwhelming tide of corruption and violence, Riku discovers that his only currency is his own flesh and bone. Stripped of family, fortune, and future, he possesses precisely one asset: his fists. Yet within those clenched hands lies the defiant spark of a fighter who refuses to be crushed. As he steps onto the thorny path that separates the living from the defeated, Riku must confront a brutal question that haunts every soul in this unforgiving world—when justice is a phantom and hope is a luxury, what remains worth clinging to? The answer, for a boy who has nothing, may be found in the simple, devastating act of throwing a punch.
