Kano Shizumi takes in the scene before him: several figures lie in pools of blood, and he is surrounded by the Four Disasters and Kenjaku. It takes him roughly one second to accept the reality of his situation. It seems he is, in fact, somewhat dead. He reflects on the essence of the Cursed Womb: Death Paintings—born from a state of emptiness achieved by perceiving through bones. What comes after that? That is when he understands the "Immaculate Form" born from seeing the truth in impurity. Then, a revelation arrives. Kenjaku informs him that he is merely an experimental offshoot, a derivative following the Death Paintings. Though the realization stings, considering all the fail-safes Kenjaku has woven, it appears a lifetime of servitude to his "mother" is his only foreseeable future. However, a new variable enters the equation: the so-called "Best Mismatch System." It offers a power boost while allowing him to be possessed, and offers a system to boot. Now, that is interesting. The more the plot deviates from its intended course, the stronger he becomes. As Kano operates outside of the script, Kenjaku's brow furrows ever deeper. Mahito is being double-teamed and still can't manifest his domain. Who is the new figure wrestling with Mahoraga in Shibuya? Why is Yuji being held captive inside a pachinko parlor? And what exactly is the "super party" happening in the Sendai Barrier, and who is the one without a domain who was left out? More importantly, where are the rest of Sukuna's fingers? "So..." Kenjaku says, his expression complicated as he watches Kano warm up, his voice strained. "Since Sukuna hasn't found all his fingers yet, go keep Gojo company for thirty minutes on the promised day...
