Naisho no Jikan

By day, Mahiro is the very picture of a reserved, unassuming student—quiet, diligent, and seemingly content to fade into the background of her high school's bustling hallways. Her peers see nothing more than a sober girl who keeps to herself, never hinting at the vibrant passion she harbors just beneath the surface. But when the final bell rings, Mahiro sheds her mundane uniform and steps into a world of sequins, wigs, and character personas, trading textbooks for a shift at a themed cosplay cafe where she is free to become anyone she wishes. This carefully guarded double life is her sanctuary, a thrilling escape from the monotony of classroom routine. Yet the walls between her two worlds begin to crumble when a familiar face appears among the cafe's patrons: Hinata, her classmate. Unbeknownst to her, he has been watching a little too closely, and the playful glint in his eyes suggests he recognizes more than just the cafe's décor. Suddenly, Mahiro's perfectly balanced secret teeters on the edge of exposure. Every glance from Hinata feels weighted with unspoken knowledge, and she is left to wonder whether her classmate is simply an amused observer or if he holds the key to dismantling the identity she has so carefully constructed.
