Summary
Official Details
Sawa has every reason to hate judo. Once remarkably skilled at the sport, she watched her talent become a curse—her strength proved so intimidating that boy after boy rejected her, leaving her with nothing but bitter memories. Now entering high school, she hopes to bury that past once and for all and enjoy a normal, judo-free life. Fate, however, has other plans. The strikingly handsome captain of the school's judo club singles Sawa out and, ignoring her furious objections, appoints her as the club's manager on the spot. To make matters stranger, he insists that the two of them have met before—a claim that leaves Sawa unsettled and with nowhere to run. Suddenly, Sawa finds herself trapped managing the very sport she despises most, forced to face it day after day. Worse still, the gorgeous captain's attentions seem to carry a distinctly romantic edge. How will she cope with a duty she never asked for, especially when her pushy new superior appears determined to get closer to her? This volume also includes two bonus side stories.
