Kill the Hero

Woojin believed he was fighting for the right side of a world under siege by monsters—until the day the righteous leader of his own guild cut him down. Betrayed by the very hero at the head of his guild, Woojin's story should have ended there. Instead, death grants him a second chance: the opportunity to begin it all again. This time, heroism holds no appeal. He has no interest in sacrificing himself to save the world from its monstrous threat. Instead, Woojin chases high-level kills that spread his notoriety throughout the player community, steadily raising his stats as he schemes and strategizes his way toward the top. Yet the higher he climbs, the deeper the mystery around him grows. No one can figure out whose side he is truly playing for—and that is exactly how he wants it. Woojin isn't fighting for glory or salvation anymore. Now that he understands how to win the game, he will stop at nothing to destroy the hero who once took his life.
