The Beacon Fire Begins with Sichuan's Brave Warriors

Yu Hua, a young man from the modern era, wakes up one day to find himself transported into the world of the classic war drama "Brave Sons Go Out of Sichuan," now serving as a soldier in the Sichuan Army. This force is notorious for enduring the most brutal battles while armed with the poorest equipment, often dismissed as a ragged band of beggars. But Yu Hua knows what is at stake. Determined to expel the foreign invaders and defend his homeland, he embraces the solemn call: every inch of mountains and rivers is bought with blood, every ten thousand youth form an army, and every handful of soil holds a soul. In this time of national crisis, he vows to charge into battle with everything he has—after all, if he falls, perhaps he will simply transmigrate once more. From the bloody defense of Shanghai, to the fierce resistance at Xinkou, and the strategic maneuvers at Xuzhou, the Sichuan Army's footsteps stretch across the length and breadth of the nation, eventually forging the legendary reputation that echoes through history: "Without Sichuan, there is no army."
