Red Mansion Splendor, Power Over the Realm

Transmigrating into the body of Ximen Qing, the infamous bully of Qinghe County, the first woman he encounters is not Pan Jinlian, but Qin Keqing from the Red Mansion. With the Jingkang Crisis looming and the Northern Song Dynasty on the verge of collapse, he leads a motley crew of rogues and outlaws to rise through the ranks, even winning favor before Emperor Huizong himself. As legendary beauties from both the Water Margin and Dream of the Red Chamber—including Pan Jinlian, Li Ping'er, Xue Baochai, and Lin Daiyu—are thrown together in one garden, their rivalries are fiercer than any battlefield. When they cross him, they quickly learn the sting of his disciplinary rod. Backed by his powerful godfather Cai Jing, bringing down the Jia family is merely a side task. Ruthlessly ambitious, he climbs ever higher, toppling his godfather, then Emperor Huizong and Emperor Qinzong, until he stands alone at the very summit of power. Clad in the imperial yellow robe, he single-handedly holds back the tide of northern invaders, halting the destruction of an empire.
