Known as *shokuyou*, these phantom beings possess a singular and unsettling biology: their bodily fluids transform into a sweet, edible nectar coveted by humans. Long believed to have vanished from the world, they have in truth never left, hiding in plain sight within modern society. Haru appears to be nothing more than an ordinary student, but beneath that unassuming surface beats the heart of a *shokuyou*—a fact that his classmate Shigure discovers with unnerving ease. What follows is not a gentle confession but a forceful claiming, as Shigure "consumes" Haru in an act that blurs the line between hunger and desire. Yet as the initial shock fades, Haru begins to perceive something deeper beneath Shigure's predatory impulses—a sincerity that transforms violation into longing, and revulsion into an aching pleasure he never anticipated. Trapped in the intricate, unsettling space where nourishment meets intimacy, Haru finds himself questioning whether a creature bred to be sustenance and a human built to crave it can ever forge something as ordinary as love. But his fragile introspection is shattered when a cohort of enigmatic transfer students arrives, each one claiming to be a *shokuyou* in their own right. Their sudden appearance throws Haru's already fractured world into deeper chaos, forcing him to confront not only his own nature, but the true meaning of what it means to be consumed—and to consume in return.
