Scratch Blue

Akito is a high school delinquent whose tough exterior masks a deeply unsettling nightly torment. Every time he falls asleep, he is plunged into vivid nightmares centered around Ryouta, his carefree and seemingly oblivious childhood friend. During the waking hours, Akito quietly watches over Ryouta, acting as his protector and caretaker despite his own rough reputation among peers. However, the moment darkness falls and sleep takes hold, their dynamic shifts into something far more sinister and psychologically distressing. Within the confines of these relentless dreams, the once-innocent Ryouta transforms into a cruel and sadistic figure. He mercilessly torments Akito, placing the blame for an unspecified tragedy squarely on his shoulders with the haunting accusation that everything is entirely his fault. This chilling reversal leaves Akito trapped in a cycle of guilt and dread, unable to escape the voice of the friend he so carefully guards during the day. As these disturbing visions intensify night after night, buried memories from their shared past begin to resurface, threatening to pull Akito beneath the weight of old regrets. With his grip on reality slowly weakening, he faces a harrowing question: will the unresolved shadows of their history eventually consume him completely?
