I Became the Lousy Side Top

Seo Jaewoo opens his eyes to find himself inside the world of a BL novel—not as a minor extra, but as the wretched side top whose sole purpose is to torment the story’s main bottom, Yoo Hyeonjin. To make matters worse, the original plot dictates that all of Jaewoo’s vile deeds will eventually catch up with him, culminating in his death at the hands of Choi Mujin, the obsessive male lead and Hyeonjin’s destined love interest. Desperate to survive, Jaewoo resolves to abandon his assigned role and win Hyeonjin over by any means necessary. His unconventional strategy? Luring the other man in with home-cooked food. Though his culinary approach proves surprisingly effective and allows him to gradually befriend Hyeonjin, that is far from the only disruption to the original storyline. Following an unforeseen encounter with Mujin, Jaewoo finds his status as the so-called “lousy side top” completely turned on its head.
