Tonari no Seki no Yankee Shimizu-san ga Kami wo Kuroku Sometekita

Shimizu-san is the resident delinquent of her high school, but the girl seated beside Daiki Hondo is quietly changing. Voice lowered, cheeks faintly flushed, she rests her face on her desk and murmurs that she has dyed her hair black for his sake — all she wants is for him to finally notice her. Hondo, meanwhile, dreams of one day dating a girl who can cook. Soon after he shares this wish with a friend, the seemingly impossible happens: Shimizu-san, who almost never attends class, shows up in cooking class the very next day and is partnered with none other than Hondo himself. And when Hondo later remarks that he would love to taste a girl's homemade cooking, Shimizu-san arrives at lunch the following day carrying two bentos and offers one of them to him. What follows is a gentle romantic comedy of subtle gestures and unspoken feelings, as the delinquent girl at the next desk tries, one quiet act of devotion at a time, to make the boy beside her finally see her true heart.
