While having lunch with his usual group of four friends, Akito casually remarks, “I want a cute girl as a childhood friend…” He has no idea that Natsumi, the girl seated directly across from him, is actually the childhood friend who moved away when they were small. Because they have always been friends, however, it has never been easy for her to convey what she truly feels. Caught between their familiar bond and the words she cannot bring herself to say, she struggles with the distance that friendship has placed between them.
