Everyday, Love Me More

Every summer during his childhood, Oto traveled from Tokyo to stay with his grandmother in the countryside. A city boy in unfamiliar surroundings, he had no one to play with and spent his days alone in the shade—until Sora, a local boy two years his senior, took notice of him and pulled him into his circle of friends. To young Oto, Sora was nothing short of a hero, so when he vanished the following summer, Oto was left heartbroken, burdened by the feelings he had never found the courage to express. Years later, Sora is entering his final year of high school with one clear priority: preparing for his university entrance exams. Convinced that his only obstacle to quiet study will be his relentlessly loud best friend, he expects a predictable year ahead. Then, on the very first day back at school, an old face crashes into him—none other than Oto, the boy from those childhood summers, who wastes no time blurting out the confession he has carried for years. Sora's carefully planned, distraction-free school year is about to be turned completely upside down.
