Paint Love and the Colors Will Bloom

A year has passed since Ryuji Honjo graduated from high school and entered university. Despite a recent heartbreak, the outgoing and naturally charming young man is thoroughly enjoying his new life on campus. Yet, as he moves forward, he occasionally wonders how his middle school self would view the person he has become today. Among his university classmates is Leo Ichinose, a quiet and reserved individual whose intense, unintentional glares tend to keep others at a distance. However, something about Ichinose’s aloof demeanor unexpectedly draws Ryuji in. More intriguingly, Ryuji begins to suspect that the attention might be mutual, constantly feeling Ichinose’s gaze lingering on him when he least expects it. Though they appear to be polar opposites—the sociable, easygoing Ryuji contrasted sharply with the distant, seemingly unapproachable Ichinose—an undeniable curiosity forms between them. As their subtle observations of one another continue, the two may soon discover that beneath their contrasting exteriors, they are not nearly as different as they first appeared.
