The Magic Academy's Fanatic

Rosay awakens in a Western fantasy world. The good news? He is a devout believer—and the Holy Son. The bad news? In this realm, magic reigns supreme, and anyone caught worshiping deities is bound to a pyre and burned alive. Talk about a world turned upside down. Is it too late to switch to learning magic instead? Just as Rosay begins plotting his escape from the faith, he uncovers a web of far darker truths. The shadowy mastermind behind his church? A cabal of elite mages. The faithful who venerate angels sprout wings; those who worship dragons transform into dragon-girls—and the depraved upper class absolutely adores collecting such beings. Even his own parents, it seems, never loved him—they raised him to be a fanatic purely to offer him up as a noble's plaything. In a society governed by absolute magical rationality, every soul is nothing more than disposable material. One misstep lands commoners on the "execution line," quickly reduced to specimens on a mage's laboratory table. The lower classes survive only through extreme caution and relentless exploitation. Their sole path upward is to take crushing loans to enroll in the magic academy—where every textbook is written in deliberately obscure language, erecting an insurmountable knowledge barrier. Even the mages themselves are not immune to this structural dehumanization and alienation. Everything in this world grinds against Rosay's sanity—until it shatters completely. And the more his reason crumbles, the more fervently his faith burns.
