Soup no Mori: Doubutsu to Kaiwa suru Olivia to Moto Yohei Arthur no Monogatari

At Olivia’s soup restaurant, nestled on the forest’s edge far from town, patrons arrive bearing heavy hearts. Whether they are human or animal, each visitor carries painful memories that seek solace within these walls. Olivia herself harbors a secret she has never shared: the ability to hear the inner voices of both humans and animals. This gift led to her alienation from her family, who sent her away to a convent at the age of five. She escaped during the journey and was taken in by the couple who would become her adoptive grandparents. Twenty years later, Olivia remains emotionally guarded, keeping her heart closed off from others. That changes one rainy morning when Arthur, a former mercenary, arrives drenched and weary. As he settles into the rhythm of life at the restaurant, unexpected feelings begin to stir within him. Soup Forest serves as a crossroads for meeting and parting, a sanctuary enriched by the bounty of the woods where humans and animals gather. Here, they share meals, exchange stories, and then continue their separate journeys, carrying with them the warmth of their time together.
