Hachigatsu Kokonoka Boku wa Kimi ni Kuwareru.

Sakurai has a secret that has haunted him since childhood: a seemingly endless string of stalkers who have fixated on him for reasons he cannot fathom. Just when he believes he has managed to escape their obsessive attention, his classmate Ueda undergoes a horrifying transformation right before his eyes, revealing herself to be one of the creatures that have been pursuing him. As the monstrous truth of his everyday life is laid bare, a mysterious girl named Miyako intervenes to save him. She has been watching him from the shadows all along, and now she unveils the terrifying reality of his existence. Miyako explains that the stalkers are not human, but Japanese urban legends—mythical beings who have taken the form of beautiful young women. They are drawn to him by a consuming and dangerous love. Saved from one predator only to find himself in the care of another, Sakurai must navigate a world where the most innocent-looking girl could be a monster in disguise. As the creatures of folklore vie for his affection, he is caught in a deadly game where the stakes are his very life and soul. With Miyako acting as his mysterious protector, Sakurai must uncover why these beings are so drawn to him and determine if any of them can be trusted. The fate of a boy loved by nightmares hangs in the balance as he struggles to survive a romance that threatens to devour him whole.
