The Knight Captain is the New Princess-to-Be

Born into nobility but raised largely as a boy, Christina—known to all as “Lady Chris”—has grown into a formidable young woman and the captain of the Imperial Guard. In this role, she personally safeguards Prince Leonardo, her cherished childhood friend. When the King pressures Leonardo to secure a suitable bride, the prince unexpectedly names Chris as his chosen fiancée. Stunned by the declaration, Chris assumes it is merely a strategic ruse to appease the monarch rather than a genuine romantic gesture. She agrees to play along with the charade, but as their fake engagement unfolds, she begins to question whether her princely companion’s feelings have evolved beyond simple friendship.
