In the world of Evergreen, five powerful "seeds" have been stolen from their vault and brought to Earth. Natsuki, an agent of the Queen, is dispatched to retrieve them, but he requires the assistance of Chihaya, a middle school student with a unique connection to the mystical realm. Chihaya transforms into the Magical Warrior Carmine, tasked with rescuing humans possessed by the seeds. However, questions arise about Chihaya's mysterious past, her mother's seemingly omniscient knowledge, her recollections of a deceased father, and her recurring dreams of Evergreen – a place she has never seen.
