Mr. Wizard of the Steam Age

Following the advent of the Difference Engine, a world shrouded in mist has fallen under the gaze of the Old Gods. These deities are gradually distorting reality, seeking to eradicate any existence that might threaten their dominion. Into this precarious era steps a traveler from another world, one who unearths the graves of the supernatural beings from a bygone age. Spells, runes, magical potions, and alchemy—treasures long buried in history—are brought back into the light, shining brilliantly in an age watched closely by gods. Through exploring the unknown, transcending truth, and pursuing the mysteries of life and death, the hidden inheritors of the old era seize the scepter of the new. As for the gods? They merely make excellent research material.
