Wolf & Parchment: New Theory Spice & Wolf

Cole has long dreamed of joining the clergy, and now that dream is finally within reach. Leaving behind the warmth of the Spice and Wolf Inn—the bathhouse owned by his savior, Lawrence—the young man sets out for the Winfiel Kingdom in response to a prince’s summons. The task before him is no small one: to correct the sins of the church and restore faith to a troubled land. Yet even as he steels himself for the challenges ahead, Cole’s journey takes an unexpected turn before it truly begins. Hidden among his luggage, he discovers a stowaway—a girl with wolf ears and tail who could not bear to be left behind. Myuri is the daughter of the Wise Wolf Holo and the merchant Lawrence, and Cole has watched her grow up as a sister in all but blood. Their childhood bond, forged during his own travels with her parents, is now tested as Myuri refuses to accept a world where Cole walks his path without her. She has run away from home to join him, stubbornly determined to stay by his side no matter the danger. So begins the tale of *Wolf & Parchment*, a chronicle of two travelers bound by fate and family. As they journey through unfamiliar lands, Cole must reconcile his sacred calling with the complications of protecting a headstrong companion, while Myuri’s presence steadily unravels the careful plan he had laid for himself. Their adventures together are destined to reshape the world—though neither could have foreseen just how deeply their own futures would be transformed along the way.
