The Mad Dog of the Duke's Estate

Kyne Rator spent his entire existence as a loyal blade to an evil emperor, serving without question until the day his closest friend, Halo Reston, turned against him and took his life. In the end, a lifetime of unwavering devotion earned him nothing but betrayal at the hands of the one person he trusted most. Yet death is not the end of his story. Kyne awakens reborn as Caron Reston—the youngest grandson of the very man who killed him. Refusing to spend another life bound in servitude, he devotes himself entirely to growing stronger, swearing that no master will ever fasten a leash around his neck again. But fate refuses to let him go. When the oath stone chooses Caron as its bearer and the evil emperor's lingering power begins to stir once more, the past he fought so hard to escape comes calling. Now known as the mad dog of House Reston, Caron finds himself pulled back toward the very destiny he despises. Can he truly carve out a path of his own, or is he doomed to repeat the tragedy of his former life?
