Kanojo ga Kuzu o Aisuru Wake wa.

Hiro has hit rock bottom by any conventional measure: no job, no money, and a track record of treating women with casual disregard. Yet, to his bewilderment, Mi looks at him with unabashed adoration. Her standards, shaped by a parade of far worse suitors, have sunk so low that Hiro's bare-minimum decency—showing up for dates, remembering her name, and sticking around past the first week—elevates him to prince-charming status in her eyes. This bizarre dynamic leaves Hiro in uncharted territory. Accustomed to being the unrepentant scoundrel, he finds himself inexplicably pulling back from his worst instincts, caught between his natural inclination toward selfishness and the strange guilt that Mi's unwavering affection stirs in him. He cannot quite figure out why he hesitates to be his usual rotten self, and the confusion only deepens as Mi continues to shower him with devotion he knows he does not deserve. What unfolds is a comedic tug-of-war as Hiro oscillates between genuine sweetness and knee-jerk scumminess, all while Mi remains blissfully, stubbornly in love. Their mismatched romance offers a playful exploration of how rock-bottom expectations can forge the most unexpected bonds—and whether a self-proclaimed jerk can ever live up to the ridiculous pedestal his girlfriend has placed him on.
