Few students take their responsibilities quite as seriously as Sakuradaimon, the class monitor who treats enforcing the school dress code as nothing short of a sacred duty. Stern, rigid, and utterly uncompromising, he watches his classmates with an eagle eye, determined to correct every uniform violation that crosses his path—no matter how minor. His most frequent target is Kohinata, a spirited troublemaker whose light-colored hair and miniskirt place her in constant conflict with school regulations. Again and again, Sakuradaimon calls her out, and again and again she bristles at his lectures. To Kohinata, this stiff, by-the-book monitor is nothing more than an insufferable pest, and she can barely stand to be around him. But everything changes the day she discovers an unexpected secret: beneath Sakuradaimon's severe exterior lies a hopelessly clumsy boy who can hardly get through a day without tripping over himself.
