Saikyou no Madoshi. Hisa ni Ya wo Ukete Shimatta no de Inaka no Eihei ni Naru

Alfred, the strongest mage in the world, has brought the demon lord to his knees in battle. However, during that very fight, an arrow struck him in the knee, leaving him unable to fight any longer. With no choice but to retire from the adventuring life, he comes across a request posted at the guild: "We need guards for the village of Mulg. Wolves and boars keep appearing in the village, and we're at our wits' end." Out in the countryside, where no one has any idea who he is, Alfred settles into a peaceful life of seclusion, warmly adored by every villager—including a cute elf.
