Immortal Hunt

The character for "Immortal" depicts a person beside a mountain, symbolizing humanity's eternal reliance on the divine. Yet in the thirteenth year of the Tianyuan era, that foundation crumbled during the Divine Dragon Coup. After Emperor Shenzong vanished into the Zhongnan Mountains in his obsessive quest for immortality, the empire descended from its zenith into decline. The seven great aristocratic clans seized control of the court, installing the child Emperor Renzong as a puppet and plunging the realm into chaos. As corrupt officials ravage the administration and demons proliferate across the land, ambitious warlords sharpen their blades and endless conflict engulfs the world. Amidst this turmoil, Yang Mo transmigrates into the body of a destitute orphan whose foster father hanged himself after being unable to pay crushing taxes. Driven by grief and fury, Yang Mo swears vengeance against the noble families and sects responsible for such suffering, vowing to overthrow the corrupt order and reshape the world anew.
