Sunday's Solace

For office worker Jeong Ra-Won, happiness could not be simpler: survive the daily grind and spend his days off in well-earned tranquility. Yet even this modest dream proves fragile, all because of one troublesome, frequently intoxicated younger brother. When Ra-Won shows up at a gay bar to collect his hopelessly inebriated sibling, the last person he expects to find there is Hyeon Je-O—his own boss from the company. Much to Ra-Won's dismay, Je-O appears far more fascinated by their chance meeting than any supervisor ought to be, and a lingering interest in his subordinate quickly takes root—even as Je-O insists he is not gay himself. Je-O's conduct soon crosses the line into outright workplace harassment, leaving Ra-Won cornered with nowhere to hide. Then comes the final blow: he is compelled to accompany his boss on an extended business trip to Jeju Island, a journey that will devour his most cherished weekends. With every peaceful Sunday suddenly hanging in the balance, Ra-Won finds himself caught between professional obligation and his longing for rest. Can the quiet solace of his treasured days off ever be restored, or has his carefully ordered life been upended for good?
