Boogiepop: Embryo

Boogiepop: Embryo is the seventh installment of the acclaimed Boogiepop series and marks the opening volume of the Embryo arc. When a mysterious existence known only as the Embryo begins to stir, the delicate balance of the city's hidden world starts to unravel, quietly pulling ordinary lives into an extraordinary conflict that no one is prepared to face. Operating from the shadows, the Towa Organization moves to secure its own undisclosed agenda, dispatching its "strongest"—an agent whose power stands at the very pinnacle of the organization's forces. Standing in opposition is a "samurai," a resolute protector who has taken it upon himself to shield the Honami siblings from the storm gathering around them, refusing to let them become casualties of a war they never asked for. As secrets deepen and the true nature of the Embryo remains shrouded in mystery, these two opposing forces find themselves set on an inevitable collision course. The moment of their encounter draws near—and when the organization's strongest crosses paths with the samurai who guards the Honami siblings, the outcome of their meeting may decide far more than either side anticipates.
