Quo Vadis, Domine?

Sold into servitude to settle his parents’ crushing debts, Hyeon-Do finds himself bound by a contract that demands he pose as the fake fiancé to the heir of a vast conglomerate. His intended partner is Yi-Sak, an alpha whose reputation for volatility has earned him the whispered epithet of “madman” among Seoul’s elite. On paper, the arrangement is a cold transaction—a performance of affection to appease boardrooms and tabloids alike. But from the moment they meet, the charade defies its script. To Yi-Sak’s bewilderment, his raging pheromones—an affliction that has made him a danger to everyone around him—subside only in Hyeon-Do’s presence. What begins as a convenient anomaly deepens into an unspoken dependence, turning their calculated performance into something perilously real. Yet trust remains a luxury Hyeon-Do cannot afford. Beneath the polished veneer of designer suits and press conferences, he harbors secrets that could shatter the fragile alliance, and every stolen glance from Yi-Sak carries a hunger that feels less like affection and more like possession. As the wedding date looms and clandestine truths threaten to surface, Hyeon-Do walks a razor’s edge. To survive the altar, he must guard his identity with ruthless precision—for if Yi-Sak ever discovers the full extent of his deception, the man who calms at his touch may very well become the one who consumes him whole.
