The Method Messiah

Acclaimed actor Kim Seong-Jae's world tilts sideways when a stranger introducing himself as a temporary manager leads him somewhere he never expected: a remote village he fled at fifteen—the compound of the cult that consumed his childhood. Desperate to escape the place that still haunts him, Seong-Jae attempts to run, but a fatal misstep leaves the cult's leader dead at his hands. Moments later, the followers close in, and Seong-Jae is driven into a decision that can never be undone—one made purely to stay alive. What unfolds is a harrowing performance with no script and no exit. Caught on a stage where faith, brutality, and acting bleed into one another, Seong-Jae must keep playing his part or lose everything. Yet an even darker realization soon takes hold: the man who brought him here did not arrive by chance. He has been orchestrating every move from the shadows, directing the entire nightmare like a production of his own design. And once the cameras begin to roll, there will be no calling cut.
