Yuka was once an ordinary human—until the day she was transformed into an immortal. Now bound together with Tenken, a sacred beast, she has been sent down to the mortal world, where the two share a solemn duty: to aid its people in slaying the demons that plague them. Side by side, the immortal girl and the sacred beast move through a mortal realm besieged by demonic forces, lending their strength to those who cannot defend themselves. Each encounter draws them deeper into the age-old struggle between humanity and the darkness that hunts it, testing Yuka's resolve as an immortal and the trust she places in her sacred companion. Yet as the battles continue, a deeper truth begins to surface.
