For the novice goddess Ristarte, the task of saving the crisis-ridden S-rank world of Gaeabrande should have been a straightforward—if tedious—assignment. Buried under an avalanche of disappointingly average hero resumes, she nearly despairs of finding a champion capable of shouldering such a monumental burden. Then she stumbles upon Seiya Ryuuguuin, a level-one hero whose off-the-charts parameters defy all logic and read more like a divine glitch than a mortal profile. Convinced she has finally caught a break, Ristarte summons him with visions of a swift and glorious campaign. Reality, however, proves to be a masterclass in frustration. Seiya’s extraordinary power is matched only by an obsessive, almost pathological commitment to contingency planning that borders on the absurd. A simple trip to the armory turns into a marathon of procurement—not just one set of gear, but three, because you can never have too many backups for your backups. He stockpiles consumables as though preparing for a siege that will last decades, grinds his experience with manic dedication as if the level cap is a personal insult, and routinely unleashes his most devastating, overkill techniques on foes as inconsequential as garden-variety slimes. As Seiya methodically annihilates every monster in his path while leaving no variable to chance, Ristarte finds herself trapped between gratitude for his effectiveness and the slow erosion of her own composure. The demon lord’s armies are certainly in for a grueling war of attrition, but the more pressing question remains: will the forces of darkness crumble first, or will the goddess’s sanity finally snap under the weight of her hero's exhausting, unyielding vigilance?
