Sakisome Complex

Riko Kohinata has never felt any particular pull toward romance. It isn't something she dwells on, however; she quietly sidesteps the subject, unwilling to admit the truth even to herself, let alone to anyone around her. Her uneventful days take an unexpected turn one afternoon while she is studying at the home of her classmate Tomoka. Without warning, a small girl toting an elementary school backpack walks in—Tomoka's little sister, as it turns out. The moment Riko lays eyes on the adorable child, she is utterly captivated, and for a heartbeat, time itself seems to stand still. The feeling, however, is anything but mutual: rather than warming to Riko's delight, the younger girl meets her with open hostility. What unfolds is a heartwarming tale of two very different hearts—a high school girl who adores children, and an elementary schooler who longs to be treated as a grown-up. Thus begins this charming age-gap girls' love comedy!
