Run Away With Me, Girl

In high school, Maki fell in love for the first time—with her classmate Midori. Their romance came to an end at graduation, when Midori broke things off, claiming they had grown "too old to be fooling around dating girls." A decade later, Maki has never managed to stop thinking about her. When a chance encounter brings the two women back into each other's lives, Maki discovers that although her own feelings remain unchanged, Midori has long since moved on—she is now engaged. Yet the longer Maki listens to Midori talk about her future husband, the more warning signs she begins to notice. And Midori is harboring another secret, one she has yet to share with Maki. Will this revelation be the final blow to Maki's hope of rekindling their romance? Or will it be the catalyst that sends them down a new path—one they'll travel together?
