Himegoto: Juukyuusai no Seifuku

At first glance, Yuki—nicknamed Yoshiki by those close to her—is a young woman who has never quite managed to inhabit the femininity expected of her. She moves through the world in boys' clothing, her short hair and sharp posture so often leading strangers to mistake her for a man that she has long since stopped correcting them. But behind closed doors, her private rituals betray a complicated interior life: to reach satisfaction, she must don a skirt and surrender to fantasies of being overpowered by a male presence, a contradiction that leaves her perpetually at odds with her own body and desires. Across campus, Mikako Nagao wears a different kind of mask. With her doll-like features and air of untouched innocence, she passes effortlessly as a fifteen-year-old—a facade she exploits to sell her body to men who pay for that illusion. She is keenly aware that her youth is a currency with an expiration date, yet she takes a dark, knowing pleasure in deceiving her clients while her unsuspecting friends continue to see her as a sweet, sheltered girl. Meanwhile, the handsome Aiba Kaito nurses an obsession of his own: he longs not just to be with Mikako, but to *be* her. His cross-dressing is an act of devotion, carefully curating outfits that mirror her signature style, even as his attraction remains firmly fixed on women—a paradox he has yet to reconcile. As these three navigate the murky waters of university life, their carefully guarded secrets press against the edges of their relationships and self-understanding. Bound by their shared isolation yet unable to confide in one another, Yuki, Mikako, and Kaito stumble through a tumultuous season of questioning, shame, and fleeting liberation. Whether they will emerge from this labyrinth of hidden desires with their connections—and their sanity—intact is a question that haunts every uncertain step forward.
