"I never wanted to be born an assassin..." Mira rose to the very pinnacle of her deadly profession, hailed as the strongest assassin of her time—only to meet a regrettable end at the hands of a rival female knight. Yet when she next opens her eyes, she finds herself reborn as an aristocrat's daughter in the same world she once knew, under the very same name, just one year after her death. Living quietly and keeping a low profile so that her past remains hidden, Mira gradually finds herself drawn toward a life devoted to protecting others—the polar opposite of everything she once was—and resolves to pursue an entirely new path: that of a soldier.
