Xia Lan: It Begins With Meeting a Martial Arts Girl

A thousand years into the future, technology gleams at its zenith while the old martial ways have withered into obscurity. The Xia Lan and the Zero, who once stood as guardians of the world, have long since faded into legend. Yet unknown to all, the darkness never truly vanished—it instead took root and spread through the hearts of humanity. Descending upon the world under the names of Pride, Envy, Wrath, Sloth, Greed, Gluttony, and Lust, the Seven Sins feast upon human emotion and wield desire as their blade. As cities fall under the shroud of shadow and order teeters on the brink of collapse, the long-forgotten Yuan Qi awakens once more within a young man. By chance, he crosses paths with a martial arts girl who bears the Xia Lan Seal, and together they set out anew upon the path forged in the name of protection. As the Five Elements turn in their cycle and Yin and Yang give rise to one another, this time, the name of Xia Lan will once again ring out across heaven and earth—reverberating through the heart of a modern metropolis.
