Iroha Drive

Nestled in the scenic landscapes of Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture, high schooler Iroha Kamisaka navigates the winding mountain roads behind the wheel of her cherished Mini. Her daily commute to school is a cherished ritual, made all the more thrilling by the fact that she only earned her driver's license a mere three days ago. The hum of the engine and the familiar curves of the asphalt are her sanctuary—until a chance encounter upends her predictable routine. Appearing out of nowhere on the roadside is Chizuru Ichijo, a fellow high school girl with nowhere left to turn, having fled her home with no clear destination. Chizuru's arrival is as sudden as it is unexpected, thrusting her into Iroha's world at a pivotal moment. With her newly minted driving skills and a heart unwilling to ignore a desperate plea, Iroha makes a split-second decision that will alter the course of both their lives. As she grips the steering wheel and guides her Mini into a daring drift down the notorious Iroha Hill, Iroha discovers that the open road is no longer just a path to school—it has become the stage for an unorthodox partnership. What begins as a serene commute soon evolves into a laid-back yet exhilarating journey, where the freedom of the highway meets the unpredictable turbulence of youth, friendship, and the search for a place to belong.
