Ninkyou Tensei: Isekai no Yakuza-hime

Though the years have begun to weigh on him, Ryu remains the undisputed patriarch of his criminal syndicate, a hardened boss who refuses to yield an inch of his territory to the brash young upstarts nipping at his heels. His reputation alone has long been enough to hold the line, but when a pack of desperate, ambitious thugs sets a ruthless ambush, the aging gangster finds himself outnumbered and overwhelmed. Facing certain death on the cold asphalt, Ryu expects his story to end in a hail of violence—yet darkness does not bring oblivion. Instead of oblivion, Ryu awakens to the scent of perfume and the rustle of silk. He has been reborn in a fantastical realm of magic and monsters, inhabiting the body of a stunningly beautiful princess. As he grapples with the dissonance of a grizzled yakuza mind trapped within royal finery, whispers of an ancient prophecy begin to swirl around him—foretelling a savior from another world who will deliver the kingdom from looming catastrophe. An outsider in every conceivable way, Ryu finds his hardened instincts and underworld cunning clashing with the delicate politics and arcane perils of his new home. Yet, despite his utter alienation, it becomes chillingly clear that this ruthless, displaced boss may be the only force capable of confronting the darkness threatening to consume this fragile land.
