Hazure Skill "Kage ga Usui" o Motsu Guild Shokuin ga, Jitsu wa Densetsu no Ansatsusha

Roland has spent his entire life in the shadows as an assassin, a man whose only true talent is going unnoticed. One day, he breaks away from his party and strikes down the demon king single-handedly—or so the kingdom believes. For his extraordinary feat, the king graciously promises Roland whatever reward his heart desires. There is just one problem: after years devoted to nothing but killing, Roland cannot think of a single thing he wants. As he searches himself for an answer, he recalls a teammate who once described her dream for the days after evil's defeat—nothing grand, simply the chance to live an ordinary life. Moved by that modest aspiration, Roland sets aside his blades and chooses a quiet, slow-paced existence instead. Yet "ordinary" proves a relative term when Laila—the supposedly slain demon king, alive and hiding in plain sight—comes to stay at his side. For a man whose presence was designed to be forgotten, a hidden slow life may be the perfect second act.
