Within My Shadow

Sin Cha-On and Mun Se-Han were raised in the same household and were once inseparable. That bond begins to fracture when they reach adulthood. While Se-Han attends college, he is also being trained in the violent ways of a gang boss, following in his father’s footsteps. Cha-On, by contrast, devotes his private time to “extracurricular activities” in hotel rooms, seeking to satisfy his inner masochist. Each has drifted into a secret life the other is not supposed to know. But Cha-On is unaware that his childhood friend has been fully aware of his dirty little secret all along. Se-Han has endured it long enough. He is through with hiding his own sadistic desire: to break Cha-On and bring him under his complete control. As their adult lives pull them toward violence, secrecy, and forbidden impulses, the closeness they once shared transforms into something far more dangerous. Se-Han is no longer willing to remain in the shadows, and Cha-On’s hidden cravings may leave him vulnerable to the one person who knows him best. The story follows a bond twisted by desire and domination, where old intimacy becomes the stage for control.
