Yaneko, a high school student, loves sleep so deeply that she can barely wake up on her own. Her routine is turned upside down when Nerim, a sleep spirit, rouses her from slumber. From then on, Yaneko must accompany the benevolent spirit on his daily rounds, helping him bestow the gift of comfortable sleep upon people and animals of all ages. As she travels at Nerim’s side, Yaneko witnesses the gentle purpose behind his work, yet questions linger. What is his true goal, and why has he chosen her to be his assistant? Though the arrangement begins unexpectedly, it may mark the start of a beautiful friendship.
