When his father's job transfer forces him to relocate, Setoguchi Hotori finds himself thrust into a chaotic new environment. His new school is far from ordinary—it is a lawless institution overrun by delinquents, where order has long since collapsed. Almost immediately upon arriving, the mild-mannered student becomes the target of relentless daily bullying at the hands of the aggressive youth who dominate the hallways. After enduring weeks of torment and humiliation, Setoguchi finally comes to a crucial realization. If he ever hopes to escape this living nightmare and reclaim his freedom, he cannot simply endure the abuse in silence. Instead, he must find a way to win over Kuse, the undisputed leader of the very group making his life miserable. Gaining the respect or favor of such a formidable figure seems like an impossible task for someone at the bottom of the school's brutal hierarchy.
