High school student Takeru Sumura hides a harrowing truth behind his ordinary life: his parents were brutally murdered by demons. Driven entirely by a thirst for vengeance, he seeks out the legendary demon hunter Ludwig van Beethoven. In this world, Beethoven is far more than a historical composer—he is a "magia," a powerful wizard who channels the magic of music to wage war against demonic forces. Together, this remarkable ensemble of hunters harnesses their unique, music-based sorcery to combat the demonic threats plaguing the world. However, Takeru’s path to retribution is not as straightforward as he envisioned. Before he can master these mystical arts and face the creatures that destroyed his family, he must first overcome a far more mundane obstacle. Currently serving as nothing more than Beethoven’s personal cleaning boy, Takeru must find a way to prove his worth and convince the great musician to elevate him from a lowly servant to a full-fledged apprentice.
