Einstein's Monster

Lerew resides in a quiet, remote fishing village nestled along the rugged coastline. Driven by a desperate need to save his ailing father, he strikes an unusual bargain with a young boy feared and shunned by the locals as a witch, trading goods for the medicine his family requires. This fragile arrangement is born of necessity, tethering Lerew’s fate to dangerous waters and forbidden alliances just to keep his father alive. Tragedy strikes when Lerew ventures into treacherous, hazardous waters in pursuit of a catch. During the perilous expedition, he is violently thrown overboard and immediately set upon by a frenzy of sharks. The attack is merciless, leaving his body mangled and torn beyond recognition beneath the waves. Yet, even as his physical form is destroyed and death closes in from all sides, Lerew’s spirit refuses to yield. Clinging fiercely to life, his overwhelming will to survive defies the catastrophic injuries ravaging him, setting the stage for a harrowing tale of desperation and unyielding human endurance.
