Following the tragic loss of her mother, Rin abandoned her passion for calligraphy, leaving the art form entirely behind. However, everything changes when she encounters the breathtaking work of Uchida Dougen, a renowned high school calligraphy master. Deeply moved by his skill, Rin decides to pick up the brush once more and enrolls in his school. There, she joins the existing calligraphy club, which functions less as a dedicated artistic circle and more as an enthusiastic fan club devoted to Dougen himself. Rin’s renewed dedication is quickly put to the test when the student council president announces plans to disband the club. Determined to protect the place that reignited her love for calligraphy, she steps forward to fight for its survival. Her impassioned defense unexpectedly catches Dougen's attention, prompting the celebrated master—who had initially arrived only to support the president—to join the club himself after finding her words deeply intriguing. Unbeknownst to Rin, however, Dougen harbors a reputation as something of a playboy beneath his artistic brilliance.
