Strange Babies

Serving as a direct sequel to the oneshot story "Black Yagi to Gekiyaku Madeleine," which was originally featured in the anthology of the same name, Strange Babies continues the romance between its two central characters. Following a bold and highly public confession during a live broadcast, Yagi and Madeline are finally together. Their relationship has quickly transformed them into a prominent modern internet celebrity couple, allowing them to share their affection with an adoring audience both on screen and in their private lives. However, the glamorous facade of their digital fame soon gives way to unexpected tension. The couple's newfound happiness is abruptly threatened when Yagi discovers a mysterious message hidden inside her school locker. The anonymous note carries a specific and unsettling demand, instructing her to meet the unknown sender alone after school hours. As the reality of their public exposure sets in, Yagi must navigate this sudden intrusion into her life, leaving her to wonder who is watching from the shadows and what they truly want.
